Block email tracking pixels and see who tried to track you

Mailshade is a privacy-first browser extension that network-blocks known tracking-pixel domains, detects pixels and tracking links in opened messages, and lets you choose a direct destination or the original link. Its dashboard shows which senders attempted tracking.

  • Works in Gmail, Outlook, Office 365, Superhuman, Yahoo & ProtonMail; each client is opt-in.
  • Tracker history stays local; settings can sync through Chrome Sync.
  • Core inbox history is not transmitted; paid auth/Polar calls and off-by-default crash reports are documented.
  • Release-matched AGPL source is available at mailshade.org/source.
Animated demo: a tracker pixel appears in an inbox row, then a red eye icon reveals the detected tracker domain.
